Install DBCapture

Process Summary

This document will run you through installing DbCapture clients on local PC’s. This software is used by the Accounts team for processing and viewing invoices.

DBCapture – This is the software used to view/manage the invoices that have been put onto the system.

Admin account for the PC the software is being installed on.

The ICT Operations Team is responsible for the Work Instruction.

An ICT Officer would complete the task.

Instructions

Installing VersionOne DbCapture clients:

Log into the PC as Administrator

Run DbCapAdmin.msi from \\cch-versionone\media$\clients\DbCapture Admin

Change the Folder location to: C:\v1home\DbCapture Admin Click Next.

During the install, the main Installer window will freeze about here:

The followingV1 window will have opened up behind the window and will be waiting for you to enter the location of the DbLogin Server. Enter cch-versionone into the Login Server Name field and click OK.

The install will now complete and you can click Close.

Now navigate to \\cch-versionone\media$\clients\DbCapture Client and run DbCapture.msi

Enter C:\v1home\Dbcapture client and click Next.

Once this install is complete you will need to copy the Version One Shared folder from \\cch-versionone\media$ and paste into C:\Program Files\Common Files.

The software is now installed and ready to use.
