Adding a New Order and New Task in DRS
This work instruction outlines the process on how to add a new order and a new task into DRS from a job loaded in the HMS.
Accounts – DRS account with Scheduler access or higher. HMS account with access to view repairs.
Schedulers, Scheduling Team Leaders, Scheduling Manager
- Log into DRS and the HMS
- Search for job number in HMS and locate repair information
- Click on ‘Orders’ tab in DRS
- Click ‘New’ Search for the address you wish to load the order against in ‘name’ and ensure your time filter is changed to ‘All’.
5. Select the address. The following will appear:
ID and Primary Order Number– HSG(job number)0(trade abbreviation) e.g. HSG1540498GF
Target date – as on job in HMS
Order Comments – match job description in HMS
Priority – as on job in HMS
Click Save
6. Scroll to tasks:
Click ‘New’
7. Choose your template (trade) for the task and click next
8. Scroll down to ‘Time constraints’ and set the end date to match the target date:
9. Click save.10. The job can now be appointed.
